MAAC recently posted news regarding Transport Canada Regulations to the website but in case you haven’t seen it, you can find the information attached along with a link to the information the MAAC website. You might find the statement concerning MAAC members a little ambiguous, but it is accurate. Although it is clear that MAAC members will receive an exemption, all flyers will likely be subject to a basic set of legislated safety rules. As it is currently, there will still be legal consequences for anyone, MAAC member or not, that endangers manned aviation.
