About CARFF
The Central Alberta Radio Fun Flyers (CARFF) has operated as a public - Radio Control Miniature Aircraft Club for over 38 years and have on average 65 to 70 members.
Our group is made up of folks from all walks of life and includes teens as well as retiree's. The interests of club members encompass everyting from fun-flying and electrics to national competition and turbine jets. We have lifelong model builders, and modelers who just like to fly.
The club hosts a number of fun-fly and competition events every year, and we are privileged to own our own ten acre model airfield. Located just minutes from Red Deer on the Delburne Highway. This site boasts a club house, playground for the kids, self contained camping sites, and toilet facilities that are the envy of the sport of model aviation.
Come to the field for an introductory flight on our club trainer with one of our qualified instuctors. Or attend a meeting on the first Wednesday of each month.
Club Meetings are held on the FIRST Wednesday of Each Month. In the Summer months Meetings are held at the Clubhouse at the CARFF Flying Field. During the Winter they are held at the Red Deer Regional Airport at the RED DEER FLYING CLUB.
See the Calendar on the Carff Home page for details.
